Masterclasses & Mini-Lessons

Masterclasses are held at Church of the Ascension (253 Echo Dr) from 1-4pm

Throughout the term, the Bytown teachers and students come together for a fun and collaborative masterclass. Masterclasses are group workshops where several students take a turn performing a piece they are currently working on and are coached on it in a group setting. By workshopping a piece in front of a supportive audience, both the singing participant and the listeners are able to gain valuable insights into aspects of singing and performance in a fun, exploratory, and stimulating atmosphere! Each masterclass has a different area of focus.

Students who participate in our Masterclasses will be collaborating with our Studio Pianist, Dr. Aude Urbancic.

(Participation is free to all members of the school. Collaborative pianist fee is $25)
